Questions
Will my insurance company accept it?
ShopProof gives you what adjusters usually ask for: photos, brand, model, serial number and replacement value for each item, in a PDF or spreadsheet. Every policy is different, so check yours for what it requires.
What if my phone is lost in the same fire?
Make a backup and keep it outside the shop: email it to yourself, or save it to Google Drive or iCloud Drive. ShopProof reminds you when your last backup is getting old.
My serials are stamped and hard to read. Will it work?
Usually, yes. Shade a stamped plate lightly with a pencil and the digits stand out. Anything the scan misses, you can box and re-read or type in.
Do I need an account?
No. There’s no sign-up, and your inventory never leaves your device unless you export it.
